You read a new novel today !

We use a language to speak, to communicate. Languages are believed to be used since few thousand years. Even today, we are adding some new words to the language and losing some words, phrases which are less and less used. Its two way sharing which improves language and us both.

There are abundant number of words which I felt love for. Its not only words but phrases, proverbs even few sentences. I just like them, they have some inherent beauty entrenched to them. Sometimes even prepositions set in proper position change whole theory or the story.

In some of my threads I will share few exquisite sentences which I come across. Whenever possible I will try to give proper citations, If I couldn't and you know the source don't hesitate to inform.

Few days back I heard,"So, You read a new novel today !" from Achyut Adhikari. It meant all your metaphysical and psychological appearance have been changed. Isn't that a good way of saying it. I feel a proverb hidden in that.

You are the one who decide. As what people use is added to records.

Simply Giving

Tomorrow is the day of thanksgiving in the USA. And the day after that is Black Friday(Biggest shopping day in the country). How can it be the biggest shopping day of the year? What do people buy? Why do they buy all those goods? These are the questions occupied my mind for the day. As per many resources most of these goods are bought to be given as gifts, gifts to friends, family members, colleagues, to many others and even employers give gifts to their employees.

I just thought, what happens to all those gifts when they reach their destined owner? Do the owner use it? Do he/she even cares to open it and see whats inside? Most of them don't use it(presuming its not eatable) because they already have it or they don't need it at all. Few of them don't even care to open it before Christmas because they are so busy with their life. With most optimistic sense lets say out of all the gifts shared 25% of them are used effectively, 25% are used countable number of times and rest are unused and are the new object which can accumulate a dust over it.

So my first point that giving gifts to someone may be not a good thing to do for a wise man(If you know the person you can choose a gift which is useful to him). Second point is why do we share gifts and joy only on thanksgiving? Why not everyday?

Here I propose a small gift you can share with anybody even with a stranger- SMILE. :)
You can give a good smile to anyone you want to thank with your 26 muscles and even though you don't owe anything to them you will get the same. This is difficult for any other human gestures.

Still now you may be thinking I have to give some gift to someone. Then you can better give your time to them because its the most precious commodity you have got and very limited too.
Keep smiling.
:)
